10 Lowfat Demos(2007)
A collection of simple acoustic demo tracks, covering such light topics as death, obsession with snacks, marital surprises, fire on a mountain, relationships, a TV time traveler, a big fat jerk, and even the time I wore chic jeans to school back in elementary school. Some songs were written during the project, one came from back in 2003, while the rest were written from Nov. to Jan. The project was recorded in my apartment's bedroom, using a laptop, preamp/interface, and very minimal experience/knowledge of recording/mixing techniques. In the end, about half the songs sounded noticeably clearer, and they just happened to be the ones that I recorded last. I got a new condensor mic recently, and although I can't remember too well, I bet that the less clear ones were recorded using my older mic. So although the end product doesn't sound exactly like I'd like, it is what it is, and at least I was able to submit something. Boo-yah.
February 2008 Demos(2008)
These are 11 rough acoustic demos. I didn't have time to make sure I got the mixes right when I mailed it in. So I consider it a "roll the dice" effort. We'll see what we get, but I'll probably end up editing them some more in March.
